Residency Manager Job opportunity – Porthmeor Studios, St Ives

The Borlase Smart John Wells Trust is a charity offering high quality, affordable studio space for artists working in Cornwall.

They are now looking for a Residency Manager to develop and manage a residency programme for emerging and established artists based at Porthmeor Studios, and the post will include responsibility for fundraising, PR and marketing. The principal responsibility of this post will be to develop an exciting new residency programme for emerging and established artists at Porthmeor Studios. The post-holder will work closely with the artists, funders and other partners, with the ambition of delivering an innovative and outstanding programme providing major benefits for artists, the public and the Trust.

The post-holder will play an important part in helping to run the Trust, both with day-to-day administration and with designing and delivering the programme of talks, events and workshops. They will be responsible for raising the profile of the Trust, and seeking new opportunities to place our studios as a major contributor to the international arts scene.
