Here are some handy things to know before you come for a visit:
We have over 37 artists on site all taking part (and 3 more taking part virtually). You will have to opportunity to visit their studios, spend time browsing their latest work, and shop some of their handmade jewellery, ceramics, textiles, fine art prints and original paintings.
The general opening hours for Open Studio participants at Krowji are 11am to 4pm Saturday 29th August – Sunday 6th September, however it is important to know there is some variation of days and times among those taking part. Please refer to the Open Studios website for all of the opening times of each artist. Most artists and makers will be on site and in their studios during their opening hours, but please note some artists are opening by appointment only. These artists will not be in their studios outside of these times.
Please be advised all our visitors will be required to wear a face covering in all of our buildings. We will be managing the people flow through the building, and ask you to maintain social distancing throughout our corridors and within artist studios. There are hand sanitizer stations we ask you to use regularly. Within each of the studios the artist will be outlining their individual social distancing rules and you are asked to respect these at all times. These rules may include numbers in studios, payment methods and object handling.
We will also have the pleasure of Stones Bakery, who will be on site running a pop up offering coffee and their delicious baked goods, along with hot sandwiches on the weekends.
