Over 9 years the Newlyn Mentoring shows have gained a reputation for a place to see this dynamic flourishing of new ideas and approaches in contemporary art. However, this is the first year it will be held at the monumental gallery at Tremenheere Sculpture Garden. An expedient setting for ‘Rhizome’ especially where unusual texture, opacity, light and design are in play and the botanical gardens underpin your visit there. The artists will be utilising and responding to every element of this fertile context and creating an immersive environment where art works fuse or collide, find allegiances or assert themselves.
The exhibition will be at Tremenheere Gallery, Tremenheere Sculpture Garden, Penzance from 10th-12th June. The private view will take place on the 10th June from 5-9pm.
