Open call for emerging artists! Creative Kernow Associates are inviting applications from three emerging artists based in Cornwall to support the delivery of Creative Kernow’s Arts Lab programme.
Arts Lab is a creative programme for young refugees and their peers aged 10 to 18, offering opportunities to explore ideas, build confidence and create meaningful connections through the arts. Delivered in partnership with schools and community settings across Cornwall, each project is shaped collaboratively with the young people involved and culminates in a showcase as part of Refugee Week.
We’re looking for three artists, working in any creative discipline, to work alongside the lead artists to help deliver the programme.
Selected artists will receive:
– £150 per session
– One paid training day on Monday 28th September 2026
– Three paid project sessions between November 2026 and April 2027
Applicants must be Creative Kernow Associates members, be available for the training day and project sessions, and be able to travel to locations across Cornwall. CKA membership starts at £5 per month – you can sign up and cancel at any time.
