Our colleagues at
Creative Kernow Associates are holding a practical session on 24th July 2026 for artists who want to feel more confident with the financial side of running a creative business.
Licensed AAT accountant and practising textile artist Nikki Lonsdale will demystify bookkeeping, tax and the new Making Tax Digital requirements in a jargon-free workshop created especially for artists, illustrators and creative freelancers. Through real-world examples, Nikki will break down key accounting concepts in a way that’s easy to understand and apply to your own practice.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the session, and Nikki will stay on afterwards for short one-to-one queries over a coffee. This workshop is part of ‘Built to Last: practical ways to sustain a creative practice’ – a series exploring how artists can build resilient, financially sustainable creative practices.
Free for CKA members / £5 for non-members. Limited to 20 spaces
Venue: The Poly, 24 Church Stree, Falmouth, TR11 3EG
