Our colleagues at Creative Kernow Associates have a new CKA mixer event on 28th November!
“Join @stertsarts for a willow weaving workshop with a local artist, @jfassenfelt.design, to explore connectivity and how we can weave our experiences, stories and ideas as creatives in Cornwall to support and uplift one another. Together, we will explore willow weaving techniques through an eco-conscious lens.
The session will result in the shared creation of a willow sculpture that will become a way marker on Sterts’ site, supporting communities and their audiences to take an active role in their green spaces and cultural activity.
The Sterts staff team will join the event, facilitating a reflective conversation inviting Cornish artists and creatives to take a collective breath to ask ‘how can we collaborate to intertwine nature and artistic practices?’.
