Many Krowji tenants will be taking part in Open Studios Cornwall – running from the 25th May to 2nd June 2024.
Open Studios Cornwall provides a chance to meet the makers and see behind the scenes in artists’ studios, which are usually closed to the public. Over the duration of the event, artists from all across Cornwall throw open their studio doors and welcome visitors all at the same time. This is one of only two Open Studios events which occur each year at Krowji.
You can expect to browse everything from handmade pottery and unique macrame wall hangings and decorations, to fine art, jewellery, photography, and original paintings during the 9-day event, held at our Redruth creative hub – the largest site in Cornwall to take part in Open Studios Cornwall and home to over 200 artists, makers and creatives.
Krowji Christmas Open Studios takes place on the first weekend of December each year. Typically, over 60 artists, designers and makers open their studios, showcasing their incredibly diverse handcrafted goods.
You can expect to browse everything from handmade pottery and macrame, to fine art, jewellery, prints, and tapestries, all created by tenants in their Krowji studios. The Krowji cafe is usually open offering coffee, cakes and festive treats!
