53 artists, makers and designers at Krowji, Cornwall’s largest creative hub in Redruth, opened their studio doors to the public as part of Open Studios Cornwall 2019. This event showcased up to 300 artists in their studios across Cornwall from Saturday 25th May – Sunday 2nd June 2019. Visitors had the opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet the makers and purchase art, crafts and gifts.
You can see exactly which of your Krowji favourites took part here. There were also a couple of workshops being offered by the artists taking part such as Figurative Drawing Taster with a Model and The Artist in Me (Watercolour and Meditation) workshops. Entry to Open Studios Cornwall is FREE.
Open Studios Cornwall allows artists from all over Cornwall to open their studios at the same time and benefit from being represented in the popular Open Studios catalogue. You may have noticed the orange ‘O’s that appear every May that signpost to a nearby open studio.
Check the Open Studios Cornwall website for future event dates and more information about the other artists who took part across Cornwall.
