G12 Krowji, Contemporary Arts Space

G12 Krowji, our new contemporary arts space, is a residency, exhibition and arts events space for hire based at Krowji, Redruth, Cornwall.

We aim to support local and international emerging talent alongside more established artists and arts workers. We welcome applications from rigorous, contemporary, critically engaged artists, arts workers, and collectives. This space is suitable for those who wish to present new work as well as test out ideas and show them to the public. This includes graduates looking to continue experimenting with their practice after university or looking to establish themselves within the local art scene.

The Space

G12 Krowji is a large, ground floor, white space with external double door access. It has access to a shared kitchen, WI-FI, a desk and chair and an accessible toilet.

There is limited free parking onsite with access to EV chargers.

The Grow Box Café is also onsite, open 9am-4pm on weekdays.

Measurements: 6.8m x 7.1m x 2.9m. 

G12 Krowji can be found under the second bridge that joins our Phase 1 and Phase 2 Percy Williams Buildings together. You can find the space by walking to the Science Block entrance and turning to face the Percy Williams Building bridge. Our G12 Krowji events are always sign posted using a large a-board on the left hand side.

All applications will be assessed by the selection panel in accordance with the selection criteria below, this information is also detailed on the application form.

If you wish to create work in the space during your time at Krowji, we welcome applications from those working in disciplines already allowed in the Percy Williams Building. This includes, but is not limited to, visual artists, film makers, curators, and graphic designers. Please contact us if you have any queries regarding this.
