Marie Magor

Born and raised in Cornwall, I am a lifelong maker and lover of all thing’s textile, tactile, quirky and unputdownable.

Printmaking, painting, stitching, crocheting, knitting, I love trying new things alongside my old favourites.

Working in my studio at Krowji, I am so lucky to have views of beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. Whatever medium I am working in, these influence everything I do.

I re-use, recycle and upcycle vintage fabrics and textiles in my work, giving them a new life and doing my small part in saving the planet. I use re-cycled cards and am exploring re-cycled yarns.

When I am not working, I will be at the seaside, beachcombing, swimming, taking photographs and enjoying a cup of tea while I get on with my knitting.
