Alexandra Fowler

Alexandra is a children’s author and illustrator.

Creating books that are beautiful and interesting to both adult and child is key focus in Alexandra’s style. Working in the medium of watercolour alongside digital illustration, Alexandra creates illustrations for her own work, as well as other authors. She is also responsible, under the pen name Lilac Rosenwyn, for the Cornish Legends chapter book series, which aims to bring the world of Cornish myths and Legends to a new generation. Aimed at 5-to 10-year-olds, the series retells famous Cornish legends, through her character Sam, and his adventure loving Cornish grandmother. Alexandra spends time doing school visits, talking about her work as well as conducting interactive storytelling workshops.
