Katie Moore

Katie Moore is a ceramic artist recently relocated to Cornwall from London, working with clay and paint to create both functional and sculptural pieces.

She is drawn to coiled forms – open and closed – and makes work intended to live happily within domestic spaces.

Inspired by theatre sets, landscape and everyday surroundings, she documents viewpoints and translates them onto clay using slips and underglazes, constantly experimenting with surface decoration and working in evolving series.

Her work is represented by galleries including Morgans in Falmouth, Milieu in St Ives and Tappan in Los Angeles.
