Perhaps it was that training which led Lou to the strong but simple images she uses in her paintings.
The naive style and square format she favours reflects her love of home and family, but the strength of line and the linen texture she paints upon owe much to the wild and rugged North Cornwall landscape that surround her. Often the muted blues, browns and greens of the land and sea give way to much loved bold colours. Although a busy painter, Lou tries to find time for her other loves, walking her faithful and beloved dog Herb, and horse riding when the time allows.
Lou runs a framing business from her Krowji studio, find out more here.
