I employ hand-cut, low-tech, non-digital techniques which allow a portable, easily reproduced way of disseminating information. My prints migrate onto objects, form the modules for large-scale installations and respond to the site in which they are placed. Through active dialogue with people in my local community of Redruth I blend social engagement with playful research and experimentation.
I am currently working as guest artist at St. Euny Church in Redruth.
I am a qualified Art Teacher with many years of experience in local schools. I now teach for the Workers Education Association, deliver participatory projects in the community and offer one to one bespoke printmaking sessions for other artists. I am always interested in collaborations and projects.
In 2019 I devised and delivered workshops For Plymouth College of Art at FutureLab Shanghai. We produced a collective exploration of the shared importance in the symbolism of ‘home’ through the making of small houses.
