Cumpas (Cornish Music Projects) was founded in 1998 and is a charitable company, run by Frances Bennett and Hilary Coleman, celebrating Cornish distinctiveness and diversity through traditional music. Cumpas encourages community involvement and through education, performance, research, promotion and development. Events currently organised by Cumpas include a quarterly Noze Looan (Cornish music and dance night) and a monthly folk club, the Truro Troyl Club.
