My current practice is concerned with the environmental impact of people on the landscape and climate. Through exploring the land and textures, focusing on waste within the landscape, my intention is to draw attention to attitudes towards littering and fly-tipping and to highlight the on-going effects people have on the worlds climate.
I also use many different mediums for my work like acrylic, oil, watercolour, graphite and charcoal. My work has always been drawn towards realism, however, the exploration of a variety of different tools has allowed me to develop a looser style and give a more uncontrolled feel to the pieces. I have just finished university with a degree in contemporary creative practice.
