WRiter-director Nick Whitby's plays have been performed in over twenty major theatres internationally, including on Broadway, in Chicago, Berlin, Madrid and Vienna and at the Donmar in London (directed by Oscar winner Sam Mendes). He has also written extensively for television, including for Channel 4's Emmy award-winning Smack the Pony. In 2009 he co-wrote/directed the Charity Shop Cabaret with Trifle Gathering, that has since toured nationally and will be appearing at the Edinburgh Festival this summer.
